# MDEX team decided to participant DAO directors' election MDEX has launched its first global directorship election at 12:00 (UTC) on September 18, 2021. The opening of DAO governance by MDEX accelerates MDEX's steps to a fully decentralized protocol community autonomy and gives the community more decision-making power.
