# An announcement on the eleventh halving of MDX production

The output of MDEX governance token MDX has been halved for the eleventh time at 12:00 on November 22, 2023 (UTC). HECO halving block height:31252507, BSC halving block height: 33714615. After this halving, the dual chain block rewards will be reduced from the previous0.15625MDX per block to 0.078125MDX.
