MDEX has quickly accumulated consensus among the majority of the community since the launch of MDEX on January 19th 2021. A large number of volunteers have contributed to MDEX, thanks to the market and users' trust and recognition of MDEX.
MDEX will start the first round of the global director election to implement the DAO governance plan effectively, so that every community member can participate in the ecological construction of MDEX fairly at 20:00 (UTC+8) on September 18, 2021.
The details of the election are as follows:
1. MDX governance vouchers (xMDX) holders with a minimal amount of 2 million can apply to become MDEX candidate directors through pledging governance vouchers.
2.All holders of governance vouchers (xMDX) can vote on the candidate directors. MDEX team takes a random snapshot of the number of votes obtained by all candidate directors every day, counts the average number of votes obtained by all candidate directors after voting, and sorts them in descending order according to the average number of votes obtained, and the nine directors with the highest number of votes automatically become official directors.
3.During the election, any user who holds governance vouchers can vote on the official website for the candidate director he or she wants to support.
4.Users can quit the election at any time. It will take 3 days for the governance vouchers to unlock.

The voting of directors starts at 20:00 on September 19, 2021 (UTC+8).
The voting of directors ends at 20:00 on September 23, 2021 (UTC+8).
