# An announcement on the thirteenth halving of MDX production

The output of MDEX governance token MDX has been halved for the thirteenth time at 12:00 on May 20, 2024 (UTC). HECO halving block height:36436267, BSC halving block height: 38886853. After this halving, the dual chain block rewards will be reduced from the previous0.0390625MDX per block to 0.01953125.
